The Company

CONNOLLY, a premier real estate developer and investor in the Southeast, provides a focused, full-service approach to its developments and investments. Since 1972, CONNOLLY has completed more than 40 retail, commercial land, office projects, and mixed-use projects in the Southeastern U.S. totaling more than 3,000,000 square feet with a value of nearly $500,000,000.

CONNOLLY has been lead developer for several urban mixed-use projects in Atlanta, with an emphasis on walkability and transit. As a trusted developer and proven investor for more than forty-five years, the Atlanta-based team leverages experience in leasing, acquisitions, project design and development management, property and asset management and brokerage services.

 

The Team

Timothy “J.R.” Connolly II, Chief Executive Officer

Top executive leadership role, 35 years gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of the company’s operations, including property management, shop leasing, outlot sales, brokerage, major tenant leasing, site acquisition, financing, dispositions, development/project management and investment management.

David Connolly, Principal

David is responsible for acquisition, development, and asset management of mixed-use and retail projects with deep value-add components that emphasize neighborhood restaurants and retail. Before CONNOLLY, David worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he specialized in corporate due diligences for Private Equity firms.

Meghan Schmidt, Principal

Meghan manages development and acquisition for mixed-use and retail projects. She focuses on driving value for investors, tenants, and customers through thoughtful partnerships and strategic execution to bring out the best in every project. Meghan previously worked at Mastercard in data and analytics, where she partnered with clients to leverage data to improve decisions and optimize value.

 

Tony Kim, VP of Finance and Accounting

Tony is responsible for finance and accounting on CONNOLLY’s various corporate, operating and development entities.  Tony previously worked at a real estate private equity firm as a Controller managing the financial reporting, cash management, and yearend audit review.  Most recently, Tony worked as an Asset Manager for a bank based in New York.  Tony enjoys golf and resides in Georgia with his family. 

Bonni Whitehead, VP of Property Management

Bonni is responsible for retail and mixed-use asset management, process streamlining, tenant satisfaction and retention, resource management, and application of value-add strategies that contribute to the overall asset success.  She strives to provide exceptional customer service through thoughtfulness and building strong relationships with clients, tenants, and vendors.  Before CONNOLLY, Bonni worked for 15+ years at Colliers International serving a variety of clients and asset types.

DeLyse Werner, Accounting Manager

DeLyse’s duties include processing accounts receivable/payable, cash management, maintaining the general ledger and financial reporting. She came to CONNOLLY from Taylor & Mathis.

Brian Fratesi, VP of Development and Acquisitions

Brian is responsible for the development process from gap analysis and site selection through development and construction. He joined CONNOLLY in 2007 boasting more than 20 years of experience in site selection and acquisition of commercial real estate.
